The Library staff and I are preparing now for your arrival in August and we have many new, exciting changes to tell you about. In the next few weeks be sure to check the Barry Law Library Blog regularly to read the daily postings about “what’s new at your library” and to learn about some of the old news that’s still “good” news.
To start, the IT staff wanted me to let you know about the new print solution that will be implemented on our campus in mid-July. Although a different cash card will be required, the new system will allow you to print from almost anywhere and retrieve it in the Library. You can send print jobs from your USB/flash drive, your mobile device, and from a number of different cloud accounts, including Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box.
You’ll also notice some new chairs in the Library as we get closer to early August. We do listen to your recommendations for change! In late May, students tested several sample chairs for comfort and flexibility. Based on the test, we ordered the first set of replacements for the seats you currently see in our Library. More chairs will be added in the coming months.
I look forward to seeing you very soon!
