Coming Soon: LexisNexis Digital Library

Are you having trouble understanding material from your classes? Do you like to have information on the go and at your fingertips? The Library is introducing a brand new eBook platform from Lexis over the coming weeks: the LexisNexis Digital Library. This platform will contain many titles that will help you in your law school career, including rules books, case material, study aids, and more. We hope you will take advantage of this great new resource.

overdriveOur Lexis representative, Deana Sparling, will be on campus next week to demonstrate the LexisNexis Digital Library, mounted on the Overdrive platform.

You are encouraged to attend one of the sessions.  Pizza will be provided and there will be an opportunity to win a Library print card worth $10 at each session. You will need to bring your own beverage.

Please RSVP by this Friday, September 12th by choosing a session through this link: https://doodle.com/rc6bniekmaz2dfhm

This helps us ensure there will be plenty of pizza for everyone!

Training times and dates include:

  • Tuesday, September 16th from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm in ALC 201
  • Tuesday, September 16th from 5:30 pm -6:15 pm in the Moot Court Room
  • Wednesday, September 17th from 1:00 pm -1:45 pm in ALC 203

If you are unable to attend one of the sessions above, you can also drop by one of the information tables conveniently located around campus on both days of the information sessions. Tables will be set up in the lobbies of the ALC, LAC, and cafeteria between 1:00 pm-6:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16th and from 8:15 am-6:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17th.  As always, you can also drop by the library and ask our friendly Reference Librarians for assistance!

We look forward to seeing you on the 16th or 17th!
