Need a place for your next study group meeting? Then look no further than Barry University Law Library!
We have study rooms that can accommodate small to large groups. Every room is conveniently equipped with a whiteboard and an eraser. The Circulation Desk can provide markers if needed.
Currently, our study rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. There is no time limitation on these rooms. But during finals, reservations are necessary and there is a time limit of 3 hours per group per day. Back-to-back reservations are not permitted. The Library will provide a signup sheet at the Circulation desk during finals. All group members’ names must be included on the sign-up sheet. You must arrive no later than 15 minutes after the start of the reserved time. After 15 minutes, the reservation is then forfeited and that room becomes available for the next reservation.
Faculty can reserve our study rooms anytime necessary. For reservations, simply contact a Circulation staff member via email or telephone. The Library may be able to assist you with that last minute reservation, but to better serve you, please provide advanced notice. The Library will place a sign on your reserved room to prevent any confusion.
Understand that these rooms are not soundproof. If you talk, listen to music, or watch a video in a second floor study room, please keep your volume to a respectable minimum. Since the 3rd floor has a “total silence” policy, the same rule applies to our 3rd floor study room.
The Library has a “no eating” policy. This rule also applies to the study rooms. Help us keep a clean and comfortable Library by adhering to our food policy and pick up after yourselves.
Give our rooms a try and study!
