The deadline to enter the Second Annual Justice Alto Adams Writing Competition is Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
You can write on the legal topic of your choice, and you may even submit an assignment you’ve written for a class, as long as it hasn’t been previously published elsewhere.
The winner will be awarded $1000 and published in Friendly Passages magazine, a bi-monthly publication by the Friends of the St. Lucie County Law Library, which is electronically circulated to most members of the Florida Bar.
Last year, Barry Law student Allison Evans won, and two other Barry Law students, Braulio Rodriguez and recent grad Adrianna La Kam, received Honorable Mentions. (And I am proud to say they all took Advanced Legal Research with me and Diana Botluk.)
