HeinOnline is a great resource for conducting research for National Native American Heritage Month.

It’s National Native American Heritage Month! A time to remember and honor the heritage and contributions the first Americans have made to society. Check out the Law Library’s new Native American Indian display in the First Floor Display case to learn more about Florida’s Native American Tribes!

Are you interested in Indian law issues? Did you know that the Law Library’s HeinOnline database includes an American Indian Law Collection? Additionally, you can find out about many of the United States government treaties with Native American Tribes by searching the HeinOnline U.S. Statutes at Large Collection (there is even an Index of Tribes)-most treaties will be found in the volumes covering the 1770s to 1840s. For even more information on Indian Law, you can look at HeinOnline’s Journal Collection (specifically, the American Indian Law Review).

Note: If you are off-campus, you must login through GoBarry to get access to the HeinOnline database and its collections.
